And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart;
Genesis 20:6
God knows us even better than we even know ourselves. I remember as a child how one time I stole a watch from our neighbor's garage. I took the watch buried it so that it would look like I found it in the ground. I dug up the watch and ran to my dad and told him excitedly how I found this watch in the yard. I really didn't think this through because I didn't realize that the watch should not be still ticking after being buried for so long. Even though that was a dead give away, there was something about my dad that he knew I was lying. And I suffered the consequences of lying to my dad and stealing the watch.
As I became a parent I found out how my dad knew that I was lying. As parents we know all the details of our children, even better than they know themselves. Even yesterday as I came home from work I knew instantly from Andrew that something was up. His car was leaking transmission fluid and he was worried that he ruined the transmission. I asked him whats up before he even said a word.
So when God says he knows our hearts we ought to believe Him and if He says our hearts are deceitful we still should believe Him because He knows. But that shouldn't keep us from giving up to do right as it's always right to do right in God's sight. Sometimes we will fail and do something wrong, but if we genuinely regret and tell God that we are sorry, He will forgive us. I'm glad that my dad isn't still mad over the watch incident today. Dad knows the integrity of my heart now, just as God knows the integrity of my heart.

Yes I feel the same way I know when something is up with Kylee but getting her to tell me is another story. God knows all HE knows our hearts He is always there for us. I keep reminding Kylee of the skit that was put on by the teens a couple years ago. Giving your heart to a person can lead to pain with a broken heart. But if you give your heart to Jesus HE will be there and never leave them or hurt them.
